so last week sometime the guy and i went prowling observatory’s streets for something to eat. we’ve seen A Taste of Asia numerous times, but never ventured. last week we did. and are we happy we did so.
it has delicacies from thailand, china, korea and japan.
the great thing is, they have a dinner buffet. one pays R105 and then eat all you can. on that menu you can expect: sushi (and lots of it), fried rice, spring rolls, sweet and sour pork, beef in oyster sauce, prawns, miso soup, fried noodles, fried chicken, fish, spicy calamari and a few others as well.
well worth your money. the drinks are a bit pricey, though.
you can find A Taste of Asia on Lower Main Road, just a few metres down from the McDonald’s and KFC on the corner.
